Personally I'm not. Run IE7 or Word or any application in a window. Great aero effects. They look great. Drag them by the corner to fill the screen - they still look great. Use the maximise button and an ugly solid dark title bar is displayed. Is this Vista aero 50%? Wouldn't it be nice is MS was consistent?

Everyone happy with aero glass?
It may be the beta video driver.

As far as I know, it's made to be like this and not driver related ---------- Mark Dietz PROnetworks <http://www.pro-networks.org>

When we got a demo of Vista from the MS reps, we were told that this was by design, as transparent glass in maximized windows over long periods of time was causing side effects like headaches etc

Okay. Maybe I'm picky. Have a look at the title bar when windowed. The test is about centred in it. Maximise the window and the text is justified to the top of the title bar. WHY! And I hope they give us more otions to change colours. I think the default black is crap.

Microsoft has said that in upcomming builds the taskbar and start menu glass will react more when you change the glass color thru personalization.
Altho, it will still be dark tinted. :)

i totaly agree with jonty. i think that aero glass is a crap. the black a gray color all over i horrible, disgusting. MS should definitelly enable the oportunity so that users can change color something like in WMP 10 (not 11).

Yo.
Yes, I am happy with it. I do not mind the title bar going black when a window is maximized. Perhaps it would be good to have a choice of colors, but this is a very minor thing.

Wasn't my fault. Send first post and received error message to try again. Did so and got same error message. Tried later - hence the third post. It's not that I'm old and forgetful, It's not that I'm old and forgetful, It's not that I'm old and forgetful.
